How can the only loss of the #2 college football team in the nation be to the #1 football team in the nation... but they are considered lesser than other teams?

Florida is going to be BEAT DOWN in the national game. I hope the voters are happy... they didn't put the top two teams up, they put up conference champions. Doesn't matter if they are good or not...
